Sharing a
Family Christmas Story
During holiday gatherings
with relatives, family stories are often told and retold.
A Gambrills writer decided to capture a special story told to him by his
89-year-old grandmother Anna while sharing Christmas cookies and a cup of
coffee. In “The Golden Ring,”
John Snyder relates a spiritual story that dates back to December 1918 when 9
–year-old Anna and her father have similar dreams involving Jesus and Anna’s
golden ring.
Snyder self-published the
story last year soon after his grandmother’s death. This year, Warner Books is publishing this special Christmas
story in hardcover for $15.95.
